Graphite Engineering played an instrumental role as the engineer of record for the luxurious Baha Mar resort. In this highly collaborative role, we worked with various design and construction teams as well as authorities having jurisdiction to keep our clients compliant with local code requirements and for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection installation from start to finish.
Our engineer of record services included responsibility for the design drawings and management of third party installation services of the air-conditioning and ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, fire alarm, vertical transport and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems. Graphite Engineering also ensured compliance with the Bahamas Building Code and gained the approvals from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ): Ministry of Health and Director of Fire Services.
