One Particular Harbour & Margaritaville Beach Resort is the newest venue in the heart of downtown Nassau. It is a $250 million development consisting of beautifully appointed rooms on the ocean and is comprised of 200 guest rooms, world-class shopping, fine dining options, an 80-slip marina, and a 1,000-car garage.
We provided engineer-of-record services for mechanical and electrical systems and collaborated with a world-class team of design engineers to ensure the successful delivery of air-conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, fire alarm, vertical transport, and liquified petroleum gas systems. We reviewed engineering calculations and the basis of design documents to confirm compliance with local requirements. Further, we successfully attained waiver approvals as required to facilitate a seamless design process.
Additionally, we provided review comments and conducted oversight of changes to drawings to ensure compliance with the Bahamas Building Code and requirements of Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). We also liaised with AHJ to ensure the approval of drawings.
We also designed air-conditioning and ventilation, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and fire alarm systems for the Entertainment Center, Executive Offices, and other retail spaces. We further held responsibility for construction administration services and have provided third-party inspections.
