Graphite Engineering was engaged for the multimillion dollar renovations to the country’s major port of entry from the preliminary design phase until the completion of Phase III. As the project’s engineer of record, Graphite Engineering was responsible for the air-conditioning & ventilation, plumbing, fire protection and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems. Additionally, our mechanical engineering expertise was used for the chilled water system design, fire protection and plumbing designs and oversight of third party installation services.

Graphite Engineering was also responsible for ensuring compliance with the Bahamas Building Code and obtaining approvals from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ): the Ministry of Health and the Director of Fire Services
