Graphite Engineering played an instrumental role as the engineer of record for the luxurious Baha Mar Waterpark. In this highly collaborative role, we worked with various design and construction teams as well as authorities having jurisdiction to keep our clients compliant with local code requirements and we oversaw the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection installation from start to finish.
Our engineer of record services included review and sign off of the design drawings and third-party inspection services for the aquatics, air-conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, fire alarm, vertical transport and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems. Graphite Engineering also ensured compliance with the Bahamas Building Code and gained the approvals from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ): Ministry of Health and Director of Fire Services.
